In Loving Memory of Warren David Long.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Warren David Long, who passed away on June 28th 2026 at the age of 62.
Born on January 30th, 1964 in Georgia, Warren lived a life defined by service, loyalty, and unwavering friendship. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine before dedicating his career to serving his community as a firefighter. Whether in uniform or simply lending a helping hand, he spent his life putting others before himself.
More than anything, Warren will be remembered for the relationships he built and the lives he touched. He was the kind of friend who stayed by your side through every season of life. Many of his closest friendships began in childhood and lasted a lifetime, a testament to the loyalty, kindness, and genuine character that defined him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Janie Joan Johnson and Robert Lee Long.
He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply: his daughters, Maegan Luna and her wife, Jenn Luna, and Katherine Manning and her husband Terry Manning and his cherished grandson, Carter Manning who brought him immeasurable joy. He also leaves behind his beloved fiancé Amy, his brothers, and countless friends and extended family members who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Though his life was far too short, the legacy of courage, compassion, laughter, and friendship that he leaves behind will continue to live on in everyone who knew and loved him. A viewing to honor Warren’s life will be held at Ingrams Funeral on July 3rd 2026 at 2:00pm to 8:00pm. With a service at Georgia National in Canton for family and friends when available.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by reaching out to an old friend, offering a helping hand, and living with the same loyalty and generosity that he showed throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
