Willard W. "Will" Owens

Willard W. “Will” Owens, age 70, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, peacefully at his home.

Will was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to his late parents, Willard and Audrey Owens. He was also preceded in death by his son, Adam Owens and his brother, Marty Owens. Will was an Army veteran. He was a diehard “Roll Tide” Alabama fan and loved the mountains. He retired from the trucking industry and went on working in the retail business at Target where he met many new friends.

Mr. Owens is survived by his partner of 18 years, Jane Nichelson; mother of his children, Martha Anderson Owens; children, Matthew Owens, Sarah Owens, Lucas and Stephanie Owens, Shannon Ross, Chrissy Beaver, Robert Beaver, Megan Hawker;12 grandchildren; brother, Steve Owens; sisters and brothers in law, Lisa and Dave Samodell, Sarah Owens (Jim), Cynthia and John Hellwig, Patti and Paul Bauhmann; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and beloved friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
