William “Bill” Harriman, 93, of Johns Creek, GA, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 1, 1929, Bill embraced all of life and was first and foremost, a family man of faith. He just celebrated 72 years of marriage to Mary, the love of his life.

A pleasant, adventurous and fun loving guy, he enjoyed golf, tennis, scuba diving, downhill skiing, hiking, sailing and traveling all over the world. He ran the Peachtree Road Race from 1985 – 2005.

Always a dedicated worker, Bill rose through the ranks of Gold Kist, Inc. to Director of Feed Manufacturing and retired after 45 years of service, respected by his many Colleagues and Associates.

He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict and served his tour in Germany. His Bride Mary joined him for the last 3 months and they explored Europe before heading back to the states, where they settled down and raised their five children.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Harriman, Daughters Debbie Hill (Ron), Susie Johnson, Marcie Willis (Tim) and Mary Kay Corcoran (George), his 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and his Brother, Richard Priddey. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mildred Priddey; Son, Marc Harriman and Son-In-Law Jeff Johnson.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Friday, August 25, Ingram Funeral Home (210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA  30040). A time of family and friend visitation begins at 11:00am, and his Memorial Service at 12:00 noon.
