William “Bill” Robert Peery

William “Bill” Robert Peery, age 80, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. He was born in 1942, to the late Charles William and Anita Peters Peery. Bill was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cumming, GA. He was a United States Army veteran. Bill worked for the FAA for 42 years and retired as a Division Manager at FAAHeadquarters. He was known as a “Jack of all Trades” and could fix anything. Bill enjoyed motorcycles and traveling the world. He said, “a high point of his life was climbing the Great Wall of China.” He loved his family and spending time with them all. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lou Ann Peery; children, Cameron Blaine Peery, Charles “Casey” Peery, Katherine Annette Peery, and Rachel Ann Peery; grandchildren, Ashton Crew Peery, Amantha Dare Peery, Braelinn Kail Peery; sisters, Margaret Bashara, and Annette Peery; along with many other loving relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. J. Patrick Finley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in honor of William R. Peery.
