William Lane Chambers
William Lane Chambers, 68, of Cumming, GA passed away unexpectedly at home on October 2nd, 2022. Lane was born in Louisville, KY to the late Clarence Gerome Chambers and Jacqueline Hancock Chambers. He was a graduate of Venice High School, and the College of William & Mary, where he met Linda, his loving wife of 45 years. Lane was retired after a long career in Healthcare IT.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Chambers; daughters, Katie and Maggie Chambers; sister and brother-in-law, Wendy & JC Dewing; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Sally Chambers; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Kathy Chambers; Aunt, Lisa Chambers, and many other devoted family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, October 12th 2022 at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 724 Pilgrim Mill Rd, Cumming GA. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Suncoast Disaster Relief Fund at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to assist with Hurricane Ian recovery in Lane’s hometown of Venice, FL.
