William Coe Whatley, Sr.

William Coe Whatley, Sr., 84, of Cumming passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. An Atlanta native, Mr. Whatley was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked for Sweetheart Paper Products Company for 30 years; he was also a Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Whatley was totally devoted to his late wife, Dottie Whatley.

Survivors include his son, Russell Whatley of Cumming; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22, at 2:30 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Dr. Scott Gilbert officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
